I love watching TV. My favourite shows are the singing competitions. They’re really fun and so funny! I like seeing everyone doing auditions and sing the latest songs. Some of them are really awful and you can see all the judges rolling their eyes and holding their ears in pain! Some of them are really good though even though they’re not proper singers at all.

The best bit is when you get to know what they are like and where they are from. I always pick out my favourite ones and hope they win. One day I want to go and try it. I’d love to be a famous singer!

You can call or text to vote but I don’t have a mobile so I use the phone at home. Last time the show was on I called in a lot and got into trouble. I didn’t ask first and it was a lot more money than a normal phone call even though I wasn’t calling for a long time.

At first no-one knew what the number on the bill was but Dad looked it up on the PhonepayPlus number checker (www.phonepayplus.org.uk) because it began with ‘090’. First he said no one had called it but once he knew what show it was he knew it was me. He was a bit cross and told me not to get carried away. He knows I really love watching the shows and he won't stop me but now I have a limit to how many votes I can make!
